Minkailu Koroma debunk that former President Ernest Bai Koroma was never named “Chairman for life for APC”
Minkailu Koroma, a member of the All People’s Congress (APC) Media Team, has denied claims that former President Ernest Bai Koroma was named “chairman for life” of the party. He stated that such assertions were mere assumptions made by certain individuals.
Reacting to a leaked audio recording of the former president, Minkailu Koroma emphasized that there was no betrayal within the party, particularly on the part of M.S. Bangura, a long-standing APC member.
“Ernest Bai Koroma was the chairman and leader of the All People’s Congress, as well as the president of the Republic of Sierra Leone. He was never given the title ‘chairman for life.’ That is just an assumption made by some individuals,” Minkailu Koroma stated.
